The pre-production meetings started in January 2008, shooting took place from August 2008 through October 2009, post-production covered the edit of over 10 hours of material, tons of images, composition of original music and artwork - but at last the debut film from Provocation Films has been released - if you have been on this site for more than 2 minutes you may have picked that up!

No Bright Lights is available on PAL Multi-format DVD from the Store section of our site.

We are incredibly excited to announce that the original music score for No Bright Lights will be written and recorded by film composer Vanessa James. Vanessa has worked on a number of short and feature films, together with TV commercials and multiple album recordings, and has a true gift at interpreting visuals to music.

‘Accidental Photography’ forms the basis of NBL artwork

What can you say about creatives - they are always at it, always watching, always seeking an opportunity to grab a frame or inspired moment from their surroundings!

On our last trip to Romania, AdamGF shot some fantastic imagery from the car on-route back to Timisoara. Some of the images are fantastically dramatic, just by chance.

We have used some to form the artwork for the DVD itself. Result.
